How these rates are calculated
- P2P buy and sell rates: every 10 minutes our server reads the public USDT ads on OKX P2P and Binance P2P for each currency, keeps ads whose order limits cover about USD 300, and takes the median of the five best prices. The USD 300 filter drops ads whose minimum order is far larger than that.
- Spot reference: the OKX USDT/USD index multiplied by the day's US dollar exchange rate for that currency, from ExchangeRate-API; the past year's daily rates come from the European Central Bank where it publishes them. You cannot trade at it; it shows whether P2P is running above or below spot.
- Missing figures: a dash means the exchange had no suitable ads for that currency and direction when we checked.
We only read prices the exchanges show publicly. We do not trade or hold funds. The English pages carry no links to exchange sign-up pages.

Why is the P2P price of USDT different from $1 times the exchange rate?
P2P prices are set by the people posting buy and sell ads, so they need not match the exchange rate. The spot reference on this page is what 1 USDT would be worth at the OKX USDT/USD index and the day's US dollar exchange rate. The gap between the two is the premium shown in the table.
How often are the rates updated?
Every 10 minutes. Each page shows how long ago the last update was. P2P quotes have been recorded since 27 October 2026. Only six currencies (CNY, INR, PHP, IDR, EUR and GBP) also have a year of daily spot reference history.
Can I buy USDT at the rate shown here?
Not necessarily. The figures are medians of the five best ads that accept an order of about USD 300. The price you get depends on the ad, the payment method and the amount, and the exchange's order page is final.
